Not everyone can easily network to get a job. Others find it such a chore or they are painfully shy. Does this mean there’s no hope for introverts to get a job through networking? Yes, there is hope and let me count the ways thanks to M. Salpeter:
- Use the buddy system:It’s easier to get to know people if you have a friend near. No one wants to be in a network party alone.
- Get a drink: Go stop near the bar or the punch bowl and you’re bound to bump into people thinking the same way you do—doing something while in-between talking to other people.
